1Life Physio began in 2013, but before that Zoë was providing mobile physiotherapy services as a sole practitioner. 1Life Physio was established as there was an evident need for disability specific services. Zoë wanted to be able to provide services to more people, but still maintain niche physiotherapy service provision and personalised approach to care.
Community based service provision has always been Zoë’s passion. Over time 1Life Physio has grown to include like-minded physiotherapists that bring their experience, knowledge and life skills to create a thriving, supportive team that maintains an individualised approach to our clients. We are passionate about ensuring we communicate well with our clients and those who support them, to ensure that service delivery is appropriate and collaborative.
Assisting people in their own home or community, using equipment available to them makes physiotherapy accessible outside of the clinic setting. Providing services in the kitchen, lounge, garden, park, school, workplace and local pool make therapy a part of everyday life – not something done in isolation.
Mobile services also ensure provision and access to physiotherapy for all. There is no limitation for those who cannot drive or require complex support provision due to their physical challenges.
